About Me

About Me

I am completing my PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Memorial Hermann—Katy, where I focus on patient-centered care. I work with interdisciplinary teams, providing pharmacotherapy recommendations, engaging in antibiotic stewardship, and managing medication use, including renal dosing adjustments. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to improving patient outcomes through teamwork and evidence-based care, especially in pediatrics.

I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy from Idaho State University and a Bachelor’s in Public Health from Brigham Young University. I have precepted pharmacy students and contributed to clinical projects, including case simulations and medication reconciliations. For my leadership in advancing the pharmacy profession, I received the 2023 Benny Award for Graduate Student Leader of the Year.

I am excited to submit my application for a PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency. My connection to pediatric care stems from both personal and professional experiences. Becoming a parent while in pharmacy school greatly influenced my perspective and enhanced my empathy.

Professionally, I have worked with pediatric populations in clinical assistant roles, teaching medication safety and supporting immunization clinics. These positions deepened my commitment to pediatrics, especially after a rotation at a Level IV NICU during my PGY1 year, which solidified my desire to specialize in pediatric care and underscored the importance of mentorship and critical care expertise.

My goal is to become a Board-Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist, concentrating on critical care and pediatric infectious diseases such as RSV. I am committed to delivering specialized care to underserved pediatric populations and mentoring future pharmacy professionals.
